Thai Eco Solutions recently teamed up with Skillseed, a Singaporean social enterprise, to host 54 students in Chiang Mai for an educational workshop throughout May 2023. Participants from Skillseed arrived in Chiang Mai to participate in a vocational education program with BEAM education foundation, a foundation that provides marginalized youth in Thailand and Myanmar non-formal preparation for both secondary and higher education.
Thai Eco Solutions was enlisted to help coordinate various logistics including transportation for the duration of the stay and meals, as well as offering a guided insight into some local temples and attractions. This on the ground support enabled the group to get the most out of their workshop and to use the time as efficiently as possible. The collaboration also allowed us to present Chiang Mai in a positive way, showcasing a wide variety of restaurants and local transportations, local sights, which could be enjoyed in the free time.
It was not all work however, during the students free time, Thai Eco Solutions and a team of licensed tour guides hosted visits of some popular attractions including Doi Suthep and Baan Hmong as well as some lesser known temples, providing a memorable visit of the ‘rose of the north’.
